We are learning about the Vikings and visited the Jorvik Viking Centre in York
We had a wonderful time at the Jorvik Viking Centre in York. We learned lots about how Archaeologists found out about how Vikings lived in Britain.
Amira is enjoying being an Archaeologist-A bit too much maybe!
Being an Archaeologist is very tiring.
Look the Vikings have used a Roman tombstone as a wall!
I wonder which animal this came from?
Lots of Vikings converted to Christianity after living in Britain for a while
At Jorvik we learned how Vikings settled and were farmers, trading and selling goods
This skeleton was off a 45 year old Viking lady who was born with one leg shorter than the other. She would have used a crutch to help her walk.
