Last week, we celebrated Earth Day by sowing pumpkin seeds to eventually make varieties of pumpkin soup later in the year. This led to lots of discussion about plants and living things.

The children became Vikings this morning. They took their hand crafted shields and swords to their longship and rowed through the icy, choppy seas.
